By using NHOS (Natural Health Operating System), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use the Service.

2. No Medical Advice – Educational Use Only

NHOS does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your physician or other qualified health provider before making any health decisions. Reliance on NHOS is solely at your own risk.

3. Assumption of Risk – "Use at Your Own Risk"

You use NHOS at your sole risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions based on NHOS content. You assume full responsibility for any adverse effects, injuries, or damages resulting from your reliance on NHOS.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NHOS Labs, Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of NHOS, including personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.

5. No Warranties

NHOS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NHOS Labs, Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of NHOS or violation of these Terms.

7. Privacy & Data Security

NHOS is offline-first: no accounts, no cloud storage, no tracking. Your data stays on your device. Optional encrypted sync is device-to-device only with no cloud intermediary. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks of NHOS are owned by NHOS Labs, Inc. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use NHOS for illegal purposes, to provide clinical services without proper license, to reverse engineer the software, or to scrape content for commercial purposes.

10. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of NHOS constitutes acceptance of any changes. Material changes will be noted within the platform.

Privacy Policy

1. Overview – Privacy by Design

NHOS is built on a privacy-first architecture: no accounts, no cloud, no tracking. All your personal health data stays exclusively on your device. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to your privacy.

2. Data Collection – We Collect None

We do not collect any personal information. No IP addresses, no device identifiers, no email addresses, no health data is ever transmitted to us or any third party. You remain completely anonymous.

3. Local Storage – Your Device Only

Saved remedies, symptom logs, wellness tracker entries, preferences, and health memory are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage or app sandbox. No external servers, no cloud backup (unless you manually export).

4. Optional Encrypted Sync (User-Initiated Only)

You may choose to export/import encrypted .nhos files or QR codes for device-to-device transfer. This is end-to-end encrypted, peer-to-peer, with no cloud intermediary. NHOS Labs cannot access your data at any point. You are solely responsible for securing your exported files.

5. No Cookies or Tracking Technologies

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any other tracking mechanisms. Essential local storage for platform functionality is used (see Local Storage Notice within the platform).

6. Third-Party Links

NHOS may contain links to external resources such as PubMed, clinical guidelines, or textbooks. These third-party sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or data handling. We encourage you to review their policies.

7. Children's Privacy

NHOS is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has used NHOS, please note that no data is transmitted to us.

8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Other Privacy Laws)

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or port. You have complete control over your local data. You can delete your local data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or uninstalling the app.

9. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. No data is retained by NHOS Labs.

10. Security

While no system is 100% secure, NHOS minimizes risk by keeping data on your device. Optional sync uses AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Continued use of NHOS constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted within the platform.

NHOS is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Our goal is to provide an inclusive experience for everyone.

2. Current Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are operable via Tab, Enter, and Space keys. Focus indicators are clearly visible.
Screen Reader Support: Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, modal announcements, and proper heading structure ensure compatibility with JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Color Contrast: Meets WCAG AA requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
Responsive Design: Content reflows properly at 320px width; zoom up to 200% without breakage or loss of functionality.
Visible Focus Indicators: All focusable elements have clear visual focus states.
Alternative Text: Icons and meaningful images include descriptive alt text or ARIA labels.
Offline-First Architecture: No reliance on network connectivity for core functionality.

3. Known Limitations

Third-Party Linked Content: External resources (PubMed, clinical guidelines, PDF documents) may not fully conform to WCAG standards as they are hosted by third parties.
Visual Knowledge Graph: The interactive drag-and-drop canvas has partial accessibility; a text-based alternative is planned for future releases.
Modal Dialogs: While modals are keyboard accessible, focus management is being continuously improved.

5. Continuous Improvement
